When the barcode size exceeds the available horizontal (left to right) space on the page, it can result in assembly errors. In such a case, you should either adjust the data contained in the the barcode or use the Code 2D (PDF417) barcode type as this type better handles long names. If the generated document is a static document, then a cover page containing the barcode is added to the document by Expere.
Horizontal size issues occur mainly in cases where a document has a long file name and that name is presented in the barcode or when several pattern values are included in the barcode.
Another situation related to barcode sizes applies in cases where the generated barcode is too high for the vertical (height) space available on the page for the barcode. This occurs mainly when a document name is too long to fit on a single line and therefore wraps to create two lines; the second line forces the barcode to exceed the vertical limit (height). In this situation, the documents will assemble correctly with dynamic documents adjusting for the increased needs of the vertical space and static documents adjusting the barcode size (the barcode image) that is generated to fit the space.
